I believe that the Munich SAW, for example, limits L1 to no more than 1-Cell and 125g weight? Basically 1P 5000mah per cell. That's what I was sticking too. The Turnigy pack may have been 130g, so very close.

And thank You for sharing the information about your boat.
Actually our rules allow baateries up to 136g for the cell (without leads and plugs), so the Turnigy Heavy duty are allowed.
Actually Arne also ran them in the 6 cell outrigger.
The major differences in the rules are we have no length limit, and the allowed cell count is the same no matter if used in series or parallel (e.g. in L10 either 10S1P or 5S2P can be used), so for 1 cell only 1p is allowed.
But a 1S2P boat could be run in L2.

Portersville, Pennsylvania: Oct 3rd-7th
Legg Lake, South El Monte (Los Angeles), California: Nov 11th-13th
